Our experience with JP, John Patrick Design and his team, was amazing! He was a pleasure to work with, his ideas and style immaculate, his attention to detail beyond belief, and he handled all issues with the movers, the building and the furniture rental people. It was a painless seamless experience. Our apartment had been languishing for almost 3 years. JP staged it, at a very affordable price, suggested changing a few handles, knobs and light fixture. JP is extremely talented as a Staging Designer. I worked with JP over close to a full year, long distance from the West Coast as he helped me work through the sale of a unique 3br river view apartment in NY.
Over that time he acted as a project manager, introduced various professionals to support the project and thru close coordinated efforts together we could clear, renovate, and then stage. The results were stunning!

I was "overwhelmed" when I first met JP - overwhelmed in a somewhat paralyzing way and honestly not believing his claim that he could turn that into "overjoyed." I was moving from a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment on the Upper West Side to a West Village loft (my first-ever home purchase), and beyond downsizing I also had to reconfigure the space for my needs. JP brought in a contractor, Jason Perna, who was an amazing partner, and together they delivered a vision that is nothing less than stunning. Step by step, JP worked with such incredible commitment and professionalism and GOOD TASTE throughout! It wasn't easy for me to trust the process, to be patient, to have faith that we could overcome any hurdle. Soon enough I got out of my own way. JP was full of great ideas that I would have never thought of myself and at the same time he listened closely to my views, never pushing his vision, just navigating with me so that I understood what would make most sense given what I said I wanted. He maintained the budget; he found everything from well-priced antique furniture to the perfect throw pillows. He made sure I changed the things in the apartment that really needed to be upgraded (including a reimagined fireplace complete with a gorgeous nook for wood) and didn't waste money on the things that were ok to leave as is. My apartment is so much better than I ever dreamed it could be - there are so many small and big details that I'm truly overjoyed about. And every time a new person enters my home they are completely WOW-ed. I absolutely love the apartment; the space flows beautifully and it seems so much bigger than when I purchased it. This is truly a home that I get excited to return to every day. And it feels like me. JP is a pro through and through. I am grateful to have met him and 100% recommend his services.
